AREZZO

The city of Arezzo has a thousand-year history. The urban structure of Etruscan origin is enriched through the centuries with the construction of stately buildings, basilicas and churches of great artistic value. In the Basilica of San Francesco one of the masterpieces of Renaissance painting, "The Legend of the True Cross" by Piero della Francesca, is preserved . VALTIBERINA

Art and craftsmanship merge together in Valtiberina to offer the visitor an environment full of extraordinary charm. In the historic centers of its villages are kept some of the most famous works of Renaissance painting. In Sansepolcro the Palio della Balestra, with the historical procession of its figures, commemorates the historical challenge with the city of Gubbio every September. At the end of April, Anghiari showcases the art shops of the valley proposing to the tourist the unique pieces of his artistic craftsman.
