RUGGERO GESÙ
Ceramics

Ruggero Gesù trained in a Milan’s hinterland workshop in the ‘90s and then dedicated himself to working with ceramics for over 10 years.

After moving to Arezzo, Tuscany, he continued his research and experimentation in a self-taught path that led him to use the potter's wheel and to process high-temperature stoneware, a kind of ceramic suitable for producing everyday objects.

In his production, he applies manual processing techniques, mainly on the potter's wheel, using different mixtures, depending on the result he wants to achieve with the glaze.

The glazes used in the ceramic work are made from raw materials, including recycled materials such as wood ash.

The products of his workshop are everyday objects, safe for food use, as well as art and decorative objects.

In his work as a ceramist, Ruggero Gesù pursues working techniques that are particularly attentive to the protection of the environment, through good practices and the recovery of materials.
